HMS Clerkship: Neurology (TR.1301b.NR)

Background: As part of the Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) that are being instituted to prepare all medical students for residency, students are required to recognize a patient requiring urgent or emergent care, initiate evaluation, or treatment to seek help. The neurology clerkship is the ideal setting for students to first be exposed to this entity. Currently simulation based learning has not been part of the child neurology clerkship, but we are eager to make this a vital part of our curriculum.
