Learning Objectives

  • By the end of the internship, you will be able to:
    • 1. Support the Simulation Program team in their business-functions and analytics work;
    • 2. Manage, analyze, and dashboard data to inform program strategy;
    • 3. Coordinate data collection to evaluate specific program indicators;
    • 4. Develop flow maps of current processes and make recommendations around improving processes;
    • 5. Assist the team in reviewing simulation trainings for BCH staff, volunteers, parents, etc.;
    • 6. Review literature to inform evaluation of program activities, including simulation delivery and trainers;
    • 7. Support the team to plan and execute tours and events designed to educate staff and the community about the Hospital; and
    • 8. Maintain record-keeping systems, which includes collecting and recording information in departmental databases, and compiling data for internal briefings.

Candidate Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate students with interest/experience in simulation-based education, research, and process applied in healthcare
